Built around a modern industrial design theme, this model translates G-SHOCK's shock resistance into simple, functional beauty. A monochrome color scheme keeps the look minimal, while the octagonal metal bezel — symbolic of G-SHOCK toughness — carries a checkering pattern often seen in modern industrial design, with red accents marking key functions.
Cutouts machined into the bezel reveal the glass-fiber-reinforced-resin center case that protects the module, visually expressing the shock-resistant structure at the core of the design. Black IP coating on all bezel surfaces except the top face adds depth and a tightened impression to the bezel's form, resulting in a simple, versatile design built for long-term everyday use.
